Our work
Overview
A road starts to wear from the day it opens. We take on routine and periodic maintenance for government departments: repairing potholes and patches, renewing the surface, and keeping shoulders, drains and road furniture in order.
Most maintenance is done with the road open. Work zones are signed, barricaded and managed by flag persons, and everyone on site works in full personal protective equipment.

What the work covers
The repairs that keep a road in use between one reconstruction and the next.
Failed areas cut out to a sound edge, cleaned, tack coated and filled with hot mix, compacted level with the road.
A new thin surface over a sound but worn road, sealing it against water and restoring its grip.
Edges and shoulders rebuilt, and drains cleared and repaired, so that water leaves the road quickly.
Signs, road studs, kerbs and crash barriers repaired or replaced, and road markings renewed.
Where wear shows
Wear starts at the surface and works its way down. The deeper it reaches, the more of the road a repair has to replace.
Sealed and renewed with a renewal coat before water gets in.
Cut out to a sound edge and patched with hot mix.
Dug out and rebuilt in layers, then patched to the road level.
The drainage repaired, and the failed layers rebuilt from below.

Quality
Road maintenance in India is usually done to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) specifications and the maintenance codes of the Indian Roads Congress (IRC). We work to the specification in each contract.
Every material and every layer is tested against the specification, and the records are kept for the client's engineer.
