About us

Roads and bridges for public infrastructure

Vishal Infraglobal Private Limited is an Ahmedabad-based civil engineering contractor. We build roads, highways and bridges for government departments and public sector undertakings, and we compete for this work through public tenders.

We have been in the construction business since 1987, and became Vishal Infraglobal Private Limited on our incorporation in 2012. Our contracts cover road construction, bituminous and concrete pavements, bridges and culverts, earthwork and maintenance. Our own plant, site engineers and field testing let us take a work from survey to handover.

Seven areas of road and bridge work

Most road contracts bring several of these together: earthwork for the embankment, a bituminous or concrete surface, culverts at every crossing, and maintenance once the road is open.

    Hot mix plant, pavers, rollers, graders and excavators owned and maintained in-house, so critical work does not wait for hired equipment.

    Qualified civil engineers and supervisors lead each site, with daily records and progress reports for the client's engineer.

  • Testing on site

    A field laboratory for soil, aggregate, bitumen and concrete tests, with results recorded for every layer.

  • Safety first

    Full personal protective equipment for everyone on site, a toolbox talk before work begins, and signed and barricaded work zones on live roads.

  • Based in Ahmedabad

    Our office on Sindhu Bhavan Road is the base for planning, tendering, accounts and site coordination.

Our process

From tender to handover

  1. Tender and planning

    We study the drawings, quantities, specifications and site, then prepare the programme and resource plan.

  2. Survey and setting out

    We carry out a joint survey with the client's engineer and record the alignment, levels and existing services.

  3. Earthwork and structures

    We build the embankment, subgrade, culverts and drains first, so that the road stays dry.

  4. Pavement layers

    We lay the sub-base, base and bituminous or concrete surface to the design thickness and levels.

  5. Quality and safety checks

    We test every layer before the next one goes down, and keep work zones signed and barricaded.

  6. Handover

    We hold a joint inspection, put any defects right, and hand over the test records and as-built drawings.
